Johanna and Chino’s home was completely destroyed by Hurricane Maria. They have 4 kids and spent two months with them in a shelter with nowhere else to go.
Even so, FEMA denied their request for emergency assistance. With not much more of a choice and, like many others living in underserved districts in Puerto Rico, this family has been forced to take matters into their own hands.
